Description

THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSISThe 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for a 50 Ton Chiller. Period of performance is 8 weeks after receipt of an award. This is a Sole Source with Trane Division American Standard Inc. IAW FAR 6.302-1. Trane Division American Standard Inc. is the only source capable of fulfilling the government?s requirement. This chiller will replace a Trane chiller. Extensive modification to the existing heating and air conditioning system would be required if a chiller other than a Trane was purchased. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This item/service utilizes Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 1711 with a business size of 13 million and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238220. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/LGCB has determined that Trane Division American Standard Inc. is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
