Description

The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), has a requirement for the U.S. Army, Office Chief of Public Affairs, to provide access to news, legislative, public records, financial and legal databases. The proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate using the authority 6.301-1, only one responsible source, Lexis Nexis. This acquisition will consist of a 12 month base period. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 511210, size standard N/A. All responsi ble sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within seven days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. The Lexis Nexis Company offers a unique, comprehensive service combining several different features into a single subscription. Such as Legislate, Federal News Services, and Media Map transcripts into a single package, therefore, your capability statement should include detailed technical information and other literature demonstrating the ability to meet these requirements, specifically compliance with criteria listed above. A determination by the Government not to proceed with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procur ement. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to award a contract nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Responses must be received by the point of contact at CCE no later than 10:00 AM astern Standard Time, of the response date identified in the notice.
