Description

SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT DESC: Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, it is the Government's intent to award a sole source to Edge BioSystems, Inc., 201 Perry Pkwy, Gaithersburg, MD 20877, for the purchase of DTR Ultr a 96-Well Plates and columns. These filtration plates and columns have to be compatible with our sequencing machines. These plates fit directly and are compatible with our existing sequencing machine, the ABI 3730. Edge BioSystems, Inc. is the sole source provider of these products in the U.S. This is not a formal solicitation. This synopsis is not considered a Request for Quotation or Proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase will be awar ded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
