Description

The Government is seeking a source to provide Fiber Optic Training at the Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay Cuba. All material will be shipped and the technician will have to travel to Guantanamo Bay via commercial airline from Fort Lauderdale, Fl. The requiring activity is NCTAMSLANT Detachment, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The FSC code is L040 and the NAICS code is 611430. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request for Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website http://www.neco.navy.mil or email emanuel.clemons@navy.mil. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.bpn.gov. The proposed contract will be unrestricted.
