Description
The USCG Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for the following: Hydraulic Manifold Assembly consisting of one size 16 (200 l/min) proportioning valve, one (1) size 25 (700 l/min) proportion valve, one (1) pilot operated check valve, one (1) manual directional control valve and one (1) 2mm flow control orifice, two (2) cartridge check valves, and one (1) multifunction pressure control valve all mounted in a single ductile case iron hydraulic manifold iaw mil-c-24707/5 and one (1) position control unit. The manifold assembly and all components shall be suitable for use with Mobile DTE 797, a petroleum base hydraulic fluid with an ISO 32 viscosity. All valve and component mounting on the manifold shall use standardized interface patterns in accordance with ISO or National Fluid Power Association requirements. The manifold shall be designed for vibration-isolation mount (Barry Control NC4300). Directional and volume control, check, pilot, and servo valves shall be designed for minimum resistance to flow when in the operating position. Backpressure or surges shall not affect valve operation. Valve operation shall prevent detrimental surges and shock in the hydraulic system. Provision shall be made for locking adjustable valves at service adjustment to prevent tampering. Manually adjustable flow and pressure control valves shall be equipped with an adjustment verification system; valves with a rising stem shall be equipped with a color-band and micrometer based marking system, valves with a dial indicator shall be equipped with a marked dial band. Valves shall be permanently marked to indicate proper connection in the system; directional arrows shall be used, as appropriate. The force to operate control valves manually shall not exceed 15 pounds applied to the rim of the operating wheel or to the end of the operating lever. Valves shall be adequately supported. Valves shall be mounted using cap screws or bolts extending through or into the valve body, shall not be lug mounted, and shall be accessible for maintenance, repair and replacement. Individual valves larger than 2 inches shall be installed with union or flanged ends for ease of removal. For valves 2 inches and smaller, socket weld valves may be used if the valve can be repaired in place without cutting or welding any hydraulic piping. Socket weld valves with a drop-in/bolt-in center section similar to CONTROMATICS B Series 3000 PSI Ball Valves would be acceptable. Subplate and stacked valve sections shall interface with standardized interface patterns in accordance with ISO or National Fluid Power Association requirements. Valves within junction blocks shall be removable cartridge type only; junction blocks with non-replaceable valve body elements are prohibited. Hydraulic control valve spools shall be stainless steel where the spool or rods are exposed to the weather. For those valves with totally enclosed spools and rods bathed in hydraulic fluid, spools may be of hardened steel composition with wear resistant properties. Control valves with through flow bypass shall have metering chamfers on both working and bypass spool edges. The size 16 proportioning valve shall be a spool type, pilot operated valve sized for a nominal flow rate of 200 L/min @ 10 bar with progressive flow with linear fine metering with a 24 VDC electronic trigger accepting 4 to 20 mA set point input The size 25 proportioning valve shall be a spool type, pilot operated valve sized for a nominal flow rate of 700 L/min @ 10 bar with progressive flow with linear fine metering with a 24 VDC electronic trigger accepting 4 to 20 mA set point input The manual directional control valve shall be a hydraulic, pilot operated, spool type, size 32, 3-position directional valve operated by a remote mounted, manually controlled, hand lever operated, 4 port, size 10 directional valve. The Pilot operated check valve shall be a poppet style, hydraulic pilot operated, size 10 check valve with internal pilot oil drain and decompression capabilities. The cartridge check valves shall be size 10, right angled check valve. The pressure control valve shall be a external pilot operated, adjustable, unloading valve with external pilot control drain, NFPA/ANSI P 10 interface suitable for use up to 725 psi. Pilot operation shall be provided via external pilot and external drain. Adjustment shall be provided via screw type adjustment with protective cap. The Position Control Unit shall consist of a digital command value and controller card, 24 VDC control relays and local enable switch for programming mounted in a NEMA 4X enclosure. The digital command value and controller card shall be 24 VDC system suitable for controlling the proportioning valves mounted in the hydraulic manifold, and shall be completely software configurable via a PC with provision to maintain configuration and parameters in non-volatile memory. The card shall support fault monitoring, including monitoring of inputs for over range and under range, monitoring for sensor feedback, monitoring of supply and internal voltages, and monitoring of the controller itself. Fault monitoring and response reactions to fault identification shall be software configurable. Manufacturers meeting the technical requirements are as follows but are not limited to the following: Airline Hydraulics Corp: One (1) Bosch Rexroth Proportional Directional Valve 4WRLE16V-200M 3X/G24ETKO/F1M, one (1) Sun Hydraulics pilot operated check. Quantity: 1 each. Note: All components shall be as specified or equal. FOB Destination delivery to USCG/ELC, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. Quotation shall include, proposed delivery in days, the company Tax Information Number and DUNS Number. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency.
