- Description
- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Power Protection Services located at: PO Box 743665, Dallas, TX 75374 for the annual renewal of preventive maintenance and repair of Power Distribution Units and Uninterrupted Power Systems with backup batteries for the period of performance of10/01/06 ? 09/30/07. The proposed purchase order is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Power Protection Services under authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been justified, certified and approved for Power Protection Services. The NAICS Code is 811219. The small business size is $6.5 million. The acquisition will be conducted through the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 ?Simplified Acquisition Procedures?. The Government anticipates the award on a firm-fixed price purchase order. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date is August 30, 2006 at 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
