- Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal to cinduct HVAC Renovations at the James E. VanZandt VA Medical Center, Altoona, PA. Work includes, but is not limited to, ductwork and accessories, hot water heating and suppy and return piping, split system (indoor & outdoor units), roof exhaust fan, natural gas valve replacement, insulation: S/A ducts and HWH piping, and structural stairs over existing duct. Cost range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. A Pre-Bid conference is scheduled for Thursday, September 7, 2006 at 2:00P.M. in Building 2 at the VA Medical Center, 2907 PLeasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA. Bids documents are available in paper form only. All requests for bid documents must be in writing and can be sent email to Jean.Gelbke@med.va.gov or faxed to 814-942-9253. Award is subject to availability of funds. Bidders lists are NO LONGER available from the Contracting office. A bidders lists are only available by registering electronically for this solicitation.
