- The VA Medical Center in Bath, NY has a requirement for service maintenance on its Philips/Picker imaging equipment, including the following: PICKER STANDARD CLINIX E RADIOLOGY SUITE - ROOM 126 - SITE #0277749 - SERVICE IS TO INCLUDE FULL CLASS COVERAGE - PHILIPS CT 16 SLICE SCANNER EE# 136645 - SN# 3506 - MODEL MX8000 IDT SYSTEM - GOLD AGREEMENT - TUBE COVERAGE - EXTENDED COVERAGE (8AM TO 9PM, MONDAY THRU FRIDAY) - SERVICE PLAN SVC117 GOLD TO INCLUDE PM,s - PICKER CLINIX RF PLUS DIGITAL IMAGIN SYSTEM - ROOM 127 - SITE # 212889 - SERVICE TO INCLUDE X-RAY TUBE COVERAGE - PICKER CLINIX RF PLUS DIGITAL IMAGING SYSTEM - ROOM 128 - SITE # 217721 - SERVICE TO INCLUDE X-RAY TUBE COVERAGE - The VA intends to solicit and award this contract on a sole source basis to Philips Medical Systems, due to the fact that proper maintenance of the equipment is critical to patient care, and Philips Medical Systems possesses the required expertise to work on the equipment.
