- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ Reference No. F2U3556166A100. This solicitation document and provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This procurement is being solicited as a small-business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423740, and the size standard of 500 employees applies to this procurement. The requirement is to provide: Four (4) Environmental Control Units (ECU); 6-ton; minimum 72,000 BTU/HR @ 120F ambient conditions; 407C refrigerant; 1800 cfm supply air flow minimum; two (2) 16" x 25' nominal supply/return ducts; 208VAC, 3PH, 60 Hz @ 43.9 FLA in heating mode and 35.6 FLA in cooling mode; 12KW heater; enclosure dimensions are critical and shall not exceed a maximum width of 86" by 106" in length; units must fit the 463L cargo system; 100' power cord; color: Desert Tan finish; units must include suitable caster system or turf cart for ease of movement. This is an unfunded requirement for fiscal year-end pricing. Offers must be valid through 30 Sep 06. FOB is destination to Luke AFB, Arizona 85309. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offers?Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The evaluation will be based on low price, and technically acceptable offer.
