Description

The 325th Contracting Squadron at Tyndall AFB FL hereby gives notice of its intention to award a brand name justification order for the acquisition of 2 EA Whitco Model 1020ENG pressure washing systems under the statute granting authority to use other than full and open competiton FAR 6.302-1 (c) only one particular brand of suppplies or services will satisfy the agency's requirements and Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). These units provide more efficient cleaning of aircraft exteriors, landing gears and wheel well areas and their usage is strongly encouraged by the AETC and Air Force Corrosion Offices. The Aircraft Wash Rack needs to replace the current pressure washing system as it is currently inoperative. This announcement constitutes the only notice. The reference number is F4A2056233A100. The NAICS code for this purchase is 561790. The contractor shall provide the following: 2 EA Whitco Model 1020ENG Hot water pressure cleaner for Aircraft wash rack.
