- RING LASER WITH WATER RISER CHILLER. The solicitation number is FA8601-06-T-0175. The NAICS Code is 334413. The size standard is 500 employees. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The proposed source is Coherent Inc., Coherent Laser Group, Santa Clara, CA. The purchase is for a Ring Laser that is fully compatible with current system so that both systems can be linked together to make them operate as one system, extending the overall wavelength range. The Coherent Ring Laser System is the only system that can meet all needs of the requiring office. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
