- The contractor shall provide limited, specific, local purchase inventory support for a period of nineteen months at the Royal Saudi Air Force bases through-out the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia IAW FAR 6.302 1, Only One or a Limited Number of Responsible Sources. The primary effort is LOA direct by the Government of Saudi Arabia IAW FAR 6.302-4, International Agreement. However, a small portion of that requirement calls for utilizing funding not designated under the LOA as sole source to Al Raha Group for Trading Services (RGTS). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons, including foreign contractors, may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Therefore, IAW FAR 6.302 1, a logical follow-on sole source will be included for one line item of the multi-line item, LOA directed contract to RGTS. However, all proposals received after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
