Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis/solicitation reference number is F1M32E6188A100 is being issued as a Request for Quote(RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 811310 with a $6.5 Million size standard. Pricing shall be FOB destination. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. LINE ITEM 0001 Initial repairs CFRTF, Quatity :1, Unit of Issue: Lump Sum. LINE ITEM 0002 Preventive Maintenance Agreement (PMA), Qty: 4, Unit of Issue: Quarters. LINE ITEM 0003 Reimbursable Parts, Quantity and Unit of Issue: TBD. LINE ITEM 0004 Emergency Service calls, Quantity: TBD, Unit of Issue: Hour. PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT FOR MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF CRASH FIRE RESCUE TRAINING FACILITY (CFRTF)AT CHARLESTON AFB ,SC. "DUE TO THE LENGTH OF THE PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT, ENTIRE DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. THE LATEST INSPECTION AND TESTING REPORT ON THE CFRTF IS ALSO AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. The contractor shall provide all tools, supplies, labor, equipment and labor/management necessary to maintain and repair the Crash Fire Rescue training Facility (CFRTF) at Charleston Air Force Base in a manner that will ensure its serviceability and prevent deterioration in value or effectiveness of equipment. The contractor shall comply with manufacturers' recommendations and procedures, Air Force Technical Order 35E1-2-13-l and local, state, and federal guidelines as applicable to the work involved. The contractor shall provide all tools, supplies, labor and equipment and labor management necessary for initial repair at the CFRTF. The facility shall be brought to operational standards in accordance with Air Force Technical Order 35E-2-13-1. The contractor shall then maintain the CFRTF by conducting quarterly inspections. The contractor shall repair the CFRTF by replacing the igniters, cutouts panels, water pumps, and the high-density polyethylene (HDPE) liners as required, based on the inspection results. The labor cost to repair the CFRTF shall be considered as part of the maintenance cost. Any materials,supplies, and parts needed for CFRTF maintenance and/or repairs shall be reimbursed by the government. These items shall be approved by QAP and contracting officer prior to purchase. Repairs requested outside of the Quaterly Inspection cycle shall be reimbursed on a time and material basis. Note: Items to be delivered FOB Destination to: Charleston AFB, SC. SOME DELAY SHOULD BE ANTICIPATED. Offerors should allow sufficient time to obtain a visitor pass (requiring valid drivers license, Social Security Card, vehicle registration, and current proof of insurance).
