Description: Removal, transportation, and recycle of batteries and 1 battery rack. Battery: Powerware x 48 = 1008lb, C&D Tech x 72 = 6120lb, Furukawa x 24 = 1368lb, Oputima x 5 = 200lb, Dynasty x 6 = 390lb, Yuasa x 1 = 58lb Total 9,114lb (4,147kg). Contractor shall have appropriate Government of Japan (GOJ) and prefectural licenses/permits for transportation and recycling/disposal of the batteries and racks. The Government intends to award this contract to a company who has both licensed for transportation of industrial waste and disposal/recycling of industrial waste or to award this contract separately with a licensed disposal/recycle facility and a licensed transporter.
