- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) W912CZ-06-T-0039. (iii) This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation and the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-15. (iv) This acquisition is a Small Business Set-aside, Size standards 100 Employees. The applicable NAICS is 423610. (v) The items requested are as follows: Ft. Greely, AK is searching for a vendor that will supply Electrical supplies and Fasteners to their Power Plant. The vendor will travel to Ft. Greely, inventory existing stockage and alert the Chief of the Power Plant of what items are short and up on approval from the Plant Supervisor will resupply these items. The following will be evaluated utilizing price as the determining factor: Item Number 1 Transportation to and from Ft. Greely for inventory and restocking. Some vendors add the price of delivery into the price of their items and some price separately, I will need to know. Item Number 2 Please send your vendor pricing on the following items. Please quote as one each or whatever unit of issue that they are sold in: a. MACHINE SCREWS All machine screws must meet or exceed ANSI 818.6.3 specifications. Manufactured from low carbon steel, plated and case hardened. All cap screws and nuts supplied under th is contract shall be capable of producing the required tension in the assembly when mated with the matching grade of nuts and hardened flat washers. All screws supplied may be checked on a Skidmore-Wilhelm Torque Tension tester and bidders must finish sam ples as requested for testing. Products not meeting this requirement shall be just cause for dropping of the supplier from the bidder list. All grade 8 lock nuts must be completely lot traceable and fully certified. Prevailing torque type steel hex lock nut per IFI 100/107 except proof load shall be 1500,000 PSI plated. 1. 3/8, N.C. Finished, HN, GR 8 Plated. 2. 5/8-11, Flange nuts, GR 8 Plated. 3. 3/8 SAE Flat Washers, Zinc Plated m.
