- Description
- The U. S. Army Garrison, Fort Sam Houston, Texas has a requirement for Laundry Services for the period of 01 October 2006 through 30 September 2007 with four one-year option periods. This requirement will be a 100% Small Business set aside. The cont ractor shall provide the laundry plant, all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, vehicles for transport of laundry to and from contractors plant, transportation, etc., necessary to perform full laundry service at a Contractor Laundry Plant. The cont ractor shall have experience in providing government laundry services. The firm must have gained this experience as a result of being regularly engaged in the business of providing government laundry services. The minimum level of acceptable experience re quired is 24 months within the previous 36 months from the date initially established for submission of offer (proposal). The funding of this requirement is subject to the availability of funds and is contingent upon Congress enacting Fiscal Year 2007 App ropriations. The solicitation will be advertised and available for bidding on the Army Single Face Industry acquisition website: http://acquisition.army.mil/asfi on or about the 30 August 2006.
