Description

This synopsis is for a solicitation to install a Ready Pad for the Special Tactics Squadron at the Kentucky Air National Guard. Bid is to include excavation and removal of all material. 1. Construct 140 x 90 foot concrete pad. Pad will be used for storage of various vehicle and equipment items. 2. Concrete will be eight inches thick and reinforced with wire mesh. Concrete strength will be 4000 PSI. Concrete shall have a trowel finish. 3. Pad Sub-Base shall be no less than two feet of shot rock and 6 inches of compacted dense grade. Layer of Geo-Textile shall be included in sub-base. Compaction test shall be performed before any concrete is placed. 4. Site preparation will include excavation and removal of all material to include any trees identified during site visit. 5. Contractor will be responsible for furnishing all material, equipment, labor and supervision to complete the project. 6. Project schedule and subcontractor list shall be included in project submittal package. 7. General default specifications for concrete, lawns and grasses will be made available during the site visit and will be considered as part of the scope of work.
