Description

The Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP), W81GYE-06-R-0032 on or about 6 September 2006, with proposals due 10 October 06. SDDC intends to award a negotiated five-year, fixed price , requirements contract for Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) for 833d Trans BN Seattle, Washington and various ports in Oregon. The anticipated period of performance is 1 December 2006 through 30 Nov 2011. The Offeror will arrange for an d provide Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services, including all material and equipment, except those materials specified as Government Furnished in accordance with the Performance Work Statement in the Request For Proposals. NAICS Code 488320 and Feder al Supply Code (FSC) V114 will apply. This requirement will be solicitated as full and open competition. The solicitation will be posted at the Surface Deployment and Distribution Command's Business Page, http://www.mtmc.army.mil/ . Cut off date for all questions will be 10 days after the release date of the RFP. All questions shall be submitted in writing via email to Government Point of Contact (POC) identified below. All responsible sources may submit an offer. Sources interested in this procuremen t shall provide a response via email to the Government Point of Contact.
