- Reference Note #1 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W31P4Q-06-T-0487 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. Contract Line Item (CLIN ) 0001 will be issued for one (1) each custom pedestal with X-Band Rotary Joint and Slip Rings for 150 Pound Load. The place of delivery, acceptance, and FOB point is U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, 35898, marked for the attention of Mr. David Abell, AMSRD-AMR-SG-RF, 256-955-6843. The required period of performance is from date of award through 30 September 2007. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 144 9 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Co mmercial; Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price, an d other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement and price. Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial items, OFF ERORS MUST INCLUDE A COMPLETED COPY WITH THE OFFER; Clause 52.212-4, Contract Term and Conditions - Commercial Items; and Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, are applicable to this acquisition. Offer is due not later than 12:00 noon, Local Time, 6 September 2006 in the contracting office, Building 5400, Room B148, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, 35898-5250.
