- *Approximate issue date for this solicitation is 08 September 2006 with closing date 30 days after issue.* Federal Supply Class Code (FSC) 5970, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 321219. This procurement will result in an award of a firm fixed price type contract for Crane Army Ammunition Activity, Crane, IN. There are two items liste d in this solicitation. Items are: 1) Fiberboard Liner, Material Tube Stock IAW MIL-I-695, Type F Fish Paper, drawing number 12994194 rev. D. The end use for the Fiberboard Liner is 81MM M853 IL fiberboard tubes; and 2) Cardboard Liner, Material Tube Stock IAW MIL-I-695 Type F Fish Paper, drawing number 12997462 (with exception length 3.223 +/- 0.025 ). The end use for the cardboard liner is 81MM M816 IR canister assembly. The quantity is 52,000 fiberboard liners with a 100% option and 40,000 cardboard lin ers with a 100% option. First delivery is required within 30 days after date of award of contract for the Cardboard Liners; Fiberboard Liners delivery will begin following full delivery of cardboard liners. All contractors who provide goods/services to t he DOD must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). The solicitation shall be issued via the Internet at http://www.osc.army.mil/ac/aais/ioc and htt ps://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ and http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any changes to the solicitation shall also be posted to these web sites. It is the contractor's responsibility to check these sites daily for any posted changes. ***Electronic bid submission will NOT be accepted in response to this solicitation. All proposals must be faxed or mailed in by the specified date and time.
