- Synopsis/Solicitation Class Code: Services and Supply NAICS Code: 561621 SIC Code 7382 Subject: Fire Protection Services 100% Small Business RESPONSE DATE: 07 September 2006 Place of Performance: Fort Hood, TX Description: This notice serves as a synopsis for the upcoming commercial solicitation number W9126G-06-R-0094, for the purchase of Fire Protection Services at Fort Hood, Texas. The procurement is being conducted IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 (Acqu isition of Commercial Items), and 15 (Contracting by Negotiation). Deliverables such as drawings, reports, plans, work schedules and other requirements are presented in the official Scope of Work (SOW) that will be included in the forthcoming solicitation . The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary to perform fire protection systems inspection, testing and maintenance services in accordance with the following specifications at Fort Hood, TX. Co ntractors work and responsibility shall include, but not limited to, all job planning, supervision of contractor personnel, programming, scheduling, administration, inspection, and management necessary to accomplish the required specified contract service s. Contractor shall assure that all work is accomplished in accordance with the contract, all applicable laws, municipal codes, regulations and/or written directives issued by the Contracting Officer or his representative. The general overall SOW of this acquisition will include fire protection services at Fort Hood, TX main cantonment, West Fort Hood and North Fort Hood areas. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary to perform the services . The Government is submitting this request as 100 % Small Business for any contractor that can perform the services IAW the Scope of Work and attachments under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561621 which contains a size stand ard of $11,500,000.00. Provide DUNS/CAGE number of your business; certification documentation that you have the capabilities and specialized experience in the providing fire protection services. Include name, address, telephone number, and email address of references. Also, provide a brief description of the work performed, contract number, total contract value, and period of performance. Contracts must be the same or similar to the work describ ed in this announcement. In addition, provide no more than three references of similar work performed. All contractors, to be eligible for award of a Government contract, MUST be registered in Central Contracting Registration (CCR).
