Description

SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT DESC: The Rainin pipettes are used throughout the institute and in order to have continuity and compatibility with existing model, pipettes are only available from Rainin. This is not a fo rmal solicitation. This synposis is not considered a RFQ/RFP. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Interested parties may submit their detailed capabilities to include descriptive literature of their product that will be compatible with the Rainin products and past performance information showing that their product has been used in that compacity. Submit your information no later than 4:00 pm Eastern Std Time, 24 August 2006 to Email: Meghan.sholty@amedd.army .mil. The U.S. Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Disease (USAMRIID) has a requirement for Pipettes (Catalog # L-10, L-20, L-200, L-1000). Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, it is the Governments intent to award a sole source to Rainin Inst rument Co., PO BOX 4026, Woburn MA, 01888-4026 for the purchase of Pipettes (Catalog # L-10, L-20, L-200, L-1000). Pipettes that are needed are available exclusively through Rainin.
