- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a firm fixed price modification with The Boeing Company under contract number N00019-06-C-0027. This modification will establish engineering and technical support for Harpoon Missile System (HMS) Follow-On Integrated Logistics support (ILS)/Engineering Services support programs and Class I ECP development efforts for the U.S. Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers under the subject contract. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available. Request for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, and producer of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Harpoon Weapon System (HWS) and related equipment. Boeing alone has the experience, special skills, proprietary technical documentation, software/algorithms, facilities and manufacturing techniques required to produce, assemble, integrate this equipment and furnish the supplies and services anticipated. Subcontracting opportunities may be available and should be sought with MDC at the following address: The Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166-0516. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for the supplies and services anticipated needed herein is 336414 ?Guided Missile and Space Vehicle Manufacturing?. Once NAVAIR finalizes its requirements for the subject effort, a prerequisite for receiving a contract award will be registration in the DODs Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
