- This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at <http://www.neco.navy.mil/>. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division intends to enter into a Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with Alliant Techsystems, PO Box 1000, Independence, MO 64051-1000 in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, ?only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements?. The proposed ID/IQ contract will have a five (5) year ordering period with a contract minimum amount of $100,000.00 and a contract maximum amount of $9,999,000.00. This procurement action will fulfill the requirement for various types of condition ?D? ammunition. CLIN 0001- A555, .50 Caliber Ammunition; CLIN 0002 - M33 .50 Caliber Ammunition; CLIN 0003 - M17 .50 Caliber Ammunition; CLIN 0004 ? A131 7.62mm Ammunition; CLIN 0005 ? M80 7.62mm Ammunition; CLIN 0006 ? M62 7.62mm Ammunition; CLIN 0007 ? M33/M17 5.56mm Ammunition. Inspection and acceptance will be at the contractor facility, FOB destination. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. To be eligible for award, contractors must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet @ www.ccr.gov. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation.
