Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm fixed price supply type contract to be negotiated on sole source basis with Huntsman Corp., Houston, TX for Epoxy Hardner. Delivery date shall be the week of November 13, 2006. The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 28 August 2006 with a closing date of 08 September 2006. Proposed contract to be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 To be negotiated on a sole source basis with Huntsman Corp. per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS.
