Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS), in support of Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Oak Harbor, WA, has a requirement for Oven/Furnace Instrumentation Calibration Services for 6 Ovens and 2 Furnaces. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price service type contract to include a base year and 3 possible one year option periods. The solicitation will be issued as 100% Small Business Set Aside. The solicitation will be issued on or about 25 Aug 06 and close on or about 05 Sept 06. Per FAR 5.203(h), the solicitation closing date has been reduced to 10 days from this announcement. When issued, the RFQ will be electronically posted via the NECO website at www.neco.navy.mil. Offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ package and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax request for the RFQ will be accepted. An email request to janet.m.baker@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. This office will maintain no bidders list. No paper copies of the RFQ/Amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.
