- The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) intends to award a sole source contract to SimplexGrinnell, Inc, 22712 Commerce Center Court, Ste 114, Sterling, VA 20166 for four (4) Speedome ultra day/night cameras, three (3) Verint smart sight wireless video transceivers, installation, miscellaneous materials and cabling to support the Marine Corps Antiterrorism/Force protection mission. The proposed contract action is for supplies in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Award will be made on or about 30 September 2006. This acquisition will be a firm-fixed price. The NAICS Code assigned to this requirement is 561621. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
