- NAICS Code: 325199 THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is RFQ-RT-06-00274 and the solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-12. The associated North Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 325199 and the size business size standard is 1,000 employees. Full and open competition procedures will be utilized. A firm, fixed price purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures is anticipated to result from the award of this solicitation. This procurement is for Custom Synthesis of Deuterated Conazoles: Statement of Work: Task 1, Synthesis of S)-1-(4-chlorophenoxy-d4)-3, 3-dimethyl-1-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl) butan-2-one Common name -Triadimefon (Phenyl-d4). The contractor will provide EPA with a minimum of 0.005 g of Triadimefon (Phenyl-d4) with an overall purity of no less than 98%; The contractor will determine the purity of the compounds by a selection of analytical techniques that may include: NMR (proton, deuterium, carbon), gc/ms, lc/ms, hplc, ftir, or wet chemical assays; The contractor will supply EPA with a report documenting the method of synthesis and the appropriate chromatographic and spectral data certifying the purity and identity of the compound; The contractor will deliver the final product in 5 x 1mg vials no later than 4 months from the date the contract is awarded. Task 2: Synthesis of (2RS,4RS;2RS,4SR)-1-[2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl-d3)-4-propyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-ylmethyl]-1H-1,2,4-triazole Common name - Propiconazole (Phenyl-d3) The contractor will provide EPA with a minimum of 0.005 g of Propiconazole (Phenyl-d3) with an overall purity of no less than 98%; The contractor will determine the purity of the compounds by a selection of analytical techniques that may include: NMR (proton, deuterium, carbon), gc/ms, lc/ms, hplc, ftir, or wet chemical assays; The contractor will supply EPA with a report documenting the method of synthesis and the appropriate chromatographic and spectral data certifying the purity and identity of the compound. The contractor will deliver the final product in 5 x 1 mg vials no later than 5 months from the date the contract is awarded. The Government intends to award a single order to the lowest price quote that meets all Government specifications. Delivery FOB to Research Triangle Park, NC 27703. The Government reserves the right to require additional pricing information, if necessary, to determine that the proposed price is reasonable.
