Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WIL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, MD intends to award a sole source purchase order to The Raytheon Company, 1010 Production Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46808-4106 for repair of the avionics airborne communication radio system under a Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This announcement constitiutes the only notice. The NAICS code for this purchase is 336411 and the size standard is for the number of employees is 1,500. The Raytheon Company is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of this peculiar communication equipment. The Raytheon Company retains proprietary rights to the data and technical documentation for the communication radio system. See Note 22. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (03-AUG-2006).
