- Description
- NAVAIR Orlando TSD intends to issue the subject solicitation on or around October 16, 2006, contingent upon congressional approval of FY07 appropriations act or enactment of Continuing Resolution Authority (CRA). A pre-solicitation site survey will take place during the week of September 18, 2006 at the place of performance identified below providing an opportunity to satisfy the language of FAR Clause 52.237-1 Site Visit. For planning purposes, the first day for contractor access will be September 19, 2006 and the last day will be September 22, 2006. All efforts will be made to maximize uninterrupted trainer availability during these dates. A tentative pre-solicitation conference will be held onsite September 20, 2006. All companies that wish to participate in the site survey must submit a letter of intent via Email to gregory.dougherty@navy.mil no later then August 31, 2006 for facility access coordination. A pre-solicitation site survey agenda will be provided on September 4, 2006. NAVAIR Orlando TSD intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract for this requirement utilizing FAR Part 15 Best Value tradeoff procedures. All responsible firms may submit a proposal. The estimated budgetary constraint for this procurement is $1,500,000. Any proposals above this threshold will be considered non-responsive and not eligible for award. Clause 52.219-4 Notice of Price Evaluation for HUBZone Small Business Concerns Jul 2005 will apply to this procurement.
