- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Purchase Request number is F2XTB96195A100. This is a Request for Quote using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR Part 13 and is for the purchase of: 0001 One (1) Kardex or Equal Movable Shelving System: approximately 37in Long x 20?0? Deep with on 3?-0? Aisle consisting of: 1 each single faced fixed rns 24? deep x 20?-0? Long x 108? high with 6 storage levels per Bay; 7 each double faced movable runs: 48? deep x 20?-0? Long x 108? high with 6 storage levels per Bay. Storage: Total Number of Bays: 27 Bays. (for information purposes only: this unit will be used to store Pelican Boxes. Pelican Boxes Per Bay: 18. Bays required to Store 150 Pelican Boxes: 9=162 Boxes (Leaving 18 Bays to Store Other Material)). 0002 One (1) Kardex Industriever 8000 or Equal (Height: 10?-0?, Width: 47.5?, Depth: 80.4?, Pan size: 24? deep x 36? wide, Number of pans: 15 each, Pan lip: 3?, Pan Capacity 200 lbs per pan, Electrical Requirements 110 VAC/1 phase/20amp (for information purposes only: this unit will be used to store night vision equipment/goggles: 62 sets) 0003 Installation (1st Floor) 440 W. Maxwell Blvd, Bldg 1054, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112 The anticipated delivery date is 15 September 2006. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-07, dated 03 Jan 2006 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20051220. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is being solicited as unrestricted, and open market quotes are being requested. Partial quotes will not be accepted. Award will be made (all or none) to one vendor. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 337215. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by either reference or full text and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: FAR 52.212-1 ? Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Item (Jan 2006) applies to this acquisition and is addended to delete paragraphs (e) Multiple offers and paragraph (h) Multiple Awards. The Government will make an award to the lowest priced, responsible, contractor whose proposal conforms to the solicitation. The contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database, in Wide Area Work Flow, and with the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) before an award can be made. Both CCR and ORCA registrations can be completed online through http://www.bpn.gov, and WAWF registration can be completed at https://wawf.eb.mil.
