- 01 Weather Deck Non-Skid Renewal and Deck Preservation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22 effective 05 Apr 2004. The requirement is being solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-aside using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Subpart 13. The NAICS Code is 336611with a Small Business Size Standard of 1000 employees. Solicitation number HSCG28-06-Q-3HD752 applies. A Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order is anticipated. The Contractor to provide all equipment, labor and materials to Renew 01 Weather Deck Non-Skid and preserve the steel surface on the 01 weather Deck on board USCGC Dallas estimated at approximately 3226 square feet. Site visits may be arranged through CWO2 Doug Apperson (dapperson@cgcdallas.uscg.mil) after 07 August 2006. All work to be accomplished in accordance with the Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic (MLCA) Standard Specification 0000_STD, 2004 Edition, General Requirements, CG Commandant Instruction (COMDINTST) M10360.3 March 2005 Coatings and Color Manual, American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) D3884, 2001 Standard Guide for Abrasion stance of Textile Fabrics Rotary Platform, Double-Head Method, American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) ASTM C1028, 1996 Standard Test Method for Determining The Static Coefficient of Friction of Ceramic Tile and Other Like Surfaces By The Horizontal Dynamometer Pull-Meter Method, and American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E648, 2003 Standard Test Method for Critical Radiant Flux of Floor-Covering Systems Using a Radiant Heat Energy Source.
