Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Contracting Division, Net-Centric Services Branch, Hardware/Software Section (DITCO/PL8231), 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB, IL 62225-5406, intends to issue a sole source contract to Allen Systems Group (ASG), 1333 Third Avenue South, Naples, FL 34102-6400. This acquisition is for software license renewals for the period 1 Oct 2006 - 30 Sep 2007. The software is used at the DISA computing centers in Mechanicsburg PA and Ogden UT. The procurement will include renewal of Government owned perpetual software licenses, new releases and technical support. The software is proprietary and protected by copyright laws. The software products are DOCU/TEXT-ANALYSIS DOCUMENT, DOCU/TEXT-FLOW CHART, DOCU/TEXT-ONLINE, DOCU/TEXT-OPERATIONS, JOB/SCAN (Verification/Standards/Reformatter). Any party interested in receiving a copy of the request for quote shall provide an email notice to the contracting office at maria.meyer@disa.mil. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a request for quote. The resultant order will be firm-fixed price. All responses from responsible sources will be considered in making an evaluation of is prior to the award of an order.
