- Description: Answers to technical questions and technical drawings: 1. Do the 2006 Suburban's have sun roofs/moon roofs? If they do it will impact the installation of the overhead speaker console. No sunroofs. 2. If the vehicles are equipped with 3rd row seating, will it be removed to allow for the installation of the rear cabinet system? Third row will be removed prior to delivery to vendor. 3. What is the depth requirement of the rear cabinet system? See diagrams. ***Note due to technical problems all vendors must request technical drawings. Which must be faxed to you send request to 214-905-5568 attn: Darlene Leavell, please include return fax number *** 4. What is the make and model of all the government furnished radios? control heads? and remote battery chargers? Motorola radios which will vary in model but will be controlled via the mic. The chargers are for the XTS 3000/5000. 5. Are all three vehicles 2006 1/2 ton, 1500,Chevrolet Suburban's? Yes 6. What is the engine size and model for all three vehicles? 5.3l V8 SFI Flex 7. Is the vehicle fuel system use gasoline or diesel? Gasoline 8. The solicitation notes that the term of the contract will be 20 days per vehicle. Please clarify if this is 20 calendar days of 20 working days? (1 working day= 8hrs per day, Monday through Friday) No, 20 days total. The vendor is expected to prebuild the cabinets and wiring harness prior to delivery to keep production time low. 9. What is the make and model of the vehicles transmission? Unknown 10. Are the vehicles equipped with 2 or 3 row seating? Leather? Vehicles have all 3 rows of seating; however the third row will be removed prior to the vendor receiving the vehicle. 11. Are the front seats captains chairs? No, bench seat. 12. What is the configuration of the 2nd row seats? 40/60? Yes. 13. What brand name and model are you requiring for the power inverters/chargers? No particular brand name, want a quality 2500- watt SINE WAVE INVERTER. 14. Are you requesting a manual or automatic transfer switch? Manual on-off switch on console or rear radio area. 15. Is there any optional equipment required that is included with the power inverter/charger/transfer switch? Installation in rear of vehicle, wired to one outlet strip ? no additional options.
