- TORO GROUNDSMASTERS MODELS 580-D and 328-D. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation #FA8601-06-T-0153 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-12, Effective 04 Aug 2006 & Class Deviation 2005-o0001. This is 100% restricted to small business. The associated NAICS 333111. This code is on SBA?s list of Nonmanufacturer Rule Class Waivers. The size standard is 500 employees. This RFQ is being conducted as a commercial item procurement pursuant to FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. No paper copies of this solicitation will be provided. As authorized by FAR 13.501(a)(2), only quotations for the specified equipment will be accepted. Acquisition of this specific equipment is essential to the government?s requirement due to interchangeability with an extensive inventory of existing equipment and parts This Request for Quotation has two line items: Line Item 0001: Two (2) each Assembled Toro Model 580-D Groundsmasters, with the following options: Model 60613 Road Package Kit and Model 60621 Air Ride Suspension Seat. Line Item 0002: Sixteen (17) each Assembled Toro Model 328-D Groundsmasters with the following options: Model 30722 72? Side Discharge Deck; Model 30625 Deluxe Seat Kit; Model 30628 Seat Adapter Kit; and Model 24-5780 Rear Weight Kit. Responding contractors shall state estimated delivery times for equipment offered in response to this specification. All items quoted must be FOB Destination (Wright-Patterson AFB OH). The Government will make an award from this request for quotation to the responsible offeror whose quote will be most advantageous to the Government. The Government reserves the right to not make an award at all. By submission of a quote, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that, if selected, the prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: Any award resulting from this solicitation will include DFARS Clause 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests. Section 1008 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2001 requires any claims for payments (invoices) under DoD contract to be submitted in electronic form. Wide Area Workflow-Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA) is the DoD system of choice for implementing this statutory requirement. Use of the basic system is at no cost to the contractor.
