Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement is for Mississippi Readiness Sustainment Maintenance Site (MSRSMS) for the Resurfacing Brake Shoes for 5 ton 900 Series Trucks, NSN: 2530-01-286-3257. This solicitation number W9127Q-06-T-0057 is issued as a Request for Proposal. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. This is 100% set aside for small business and is restricted in accordance with FAR 19.502-2(b). NAICS is 811111 Small Business Standard is $6.0 Million. The resultant contract will be a Requirements C ontract. The period of performance will be 1 October 2006 through 30 September 2007. The estimated quantity is 4464 Brake Shoes. (1) Vendor will inspect Brake shoes in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (2) Vendor will install new bushings. (3 ) Price will include pick-up and deliver to RSMS. (7) The maximum number of Brake Shoes per month is 340 and the minimum is 200. (8) POC FOR TECHNICAL QUESTIONS IS MR. WILLIE HINTON @ 601-558-2966.
