- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation/reference number is 06SQ600147; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-12. This acquisition is unrestricted providing for full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423690. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 5895. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 5065. This request for quotation consists of the following items: Item 0001: 100 mobile mounted radios that adhere to the following salient characteristics: 1.) Capable of operating project 25 digital; 2.) Capable of accepting a trunking card option; 3.) Between 50 and 115 watts radio frequency (RF) power output; 4.) Dash mount mounting bracket; 5.) At least 15 user selectable channels; and 6.) Optional external mobile speaker. Salient features to program the radios are listed below: 1.) Necessary programming equipment; 2.) Cabling; 3.) Software that runs on Microsoft Window XP Professional. The antenna system that will be used with the mobile radios salient features are as follows: 1.) Mounting bracket designed for mobile use with shape and dimensions equivalent to the Maxrad TG34; 2.) Antenna loading coil and whip must be suitable for use on very high frequency (VHF) frequencies between 169.725 megahertz (MHz) and 172.425 MHz; 3.) Antenna mount which is compatible with the antenna mounting bracket and loading coil; 4.) Antenna mount must include an attached 17 foot length of RG58A/U 50 ohm coax cable. Products quoted must adhere to the afore mentioned salient characteristics to be fully responsive and satisfy the needs of the Government. Items must be delivered to: 205 Chamberlain Road, Mills, Wyoming 82644. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. An offeror shall complete only paragraph (j) of this provision if the offeror has completed the annual representations and certificates electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov If an offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at the ORCA website, the offeror shall complete only paragraphs (b) through (i) of this provision. FAR 52.212-3 shall be completed as noted above and submitted with the quote. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items; paragraph (a) to this provision is completed as follows: price and technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement.
