Description

U.S. Naval Hospital, Okinawa, Japan (NHO) has a requirement for Infant Flow SIPAP Comprehensive which are sole-sourced to Viasys Healthcare, Inc., the intended awardee, for use by NHO?s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The intention is to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The procedures of FAR 13 will be used for this acquisition. The NAICS code for this Solicitation is 334510, SIC code 3845. Delivery of CLINs will be directly to U.S. Naval Hospital, Okinawa, Japan. Contractor shall provide tracking information for all shipments, and ensuring proper labeling of all packaging. NHO reserves the right to award on a multiple award or an all or none basis. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by this agency. Required Central Contractor Registration. [Note: Lack of registration in the Central Contractor Registration will make a Contractor ineligible for award] Registration is available via the Internet at www.CCR.gov. Interested contractors may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. Telephone requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. Faxed offers will be accepted. Contractors are responsible for obtaining any and all amendments or additional information. Quotes and all pertinent data (descriptive literature, specifications, etc.) must be submitted to the POC no later than 12:00 pm Japan Standard Time (JST) on August 29, 2006. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, U.S. Naval Hospital, Okinawa, Japan will proceed with the sole source procurement with Viasys Healthcare, Inc.
