Description

The Department of Treasury's Financial Management Service, FMS, is conducting market research to determine potential vendor sources capable of providing an IBM brand name "Virtual Tape System" in accordance with the specifications detailed in attachment number one (1) of the notice. The FMS is particulary interested in receiving capability statements from Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) and Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZones). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)code for this requirement is 423430. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. This is a request for interested vendors to submit their capability statement demonstrating their approach to meeting the requirements as detailed in attachment number one (1) to this notice. Submissions shall be limited to twenty (20) pages. Standard brochures will not be considered a sufficient response to this notice. The capability notice shall include the following information: 1. Name of the Vendor; 2. Contact Information (address, telephone, facsimile, and e-mail); 3. Technical description of capabilities and approach to meeting the requirement; 4. Technical support experience; 5. Business size and classification. Vendors may submit an electronic copy of their capabilities to: Kimbalynn.Dieng@fms.treas.gov or by fax (202)874-7275, not later than the response due date listed above. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted.
