- Description
- Contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, transportation, and qualified supervision to perform work to upgrade the existing fire alarm system at the VA Medical Center, Fayetteville, N.C. Work includes updating of existing system firmware, removal and replacement of existing cabinets and equipment for installation of voice annunciation system, installation of new annunciation equipment and speakers, replacement of existing chime/strobe and horn/strobe combinations with strobe only devices, removal of existing device wiring and replacement with new wiring, and other miscellaneous work. The NAICS code is 238210 with a small business size standard of $13.M This procurement is 100% set-aside for certified HUB Zone firms. The cost range is between $250,000-$500,000. Work shall be performed within 270 calendar days of receipt of the NTP. The solicitation will be available for download at the Business Opportunities System website on or about June 13, 2006. Bidders are responsible for downloading any and all documents pertaining to this solicitation from the website. Paper solicitations will not be issued. Request for drawings must be in writing to the Contracting Officer. Fax requests for drawings will be accepted at (910) 482-5226. Electronic/Fax bids are not acceptable.
