Description

The Naval Air Systems Command at Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and award a level of effort, time and materials order to procure the substantiation and qualification of repairs of the components of the Upper Dual Boost Actuator (UDBA) for the CH-46E series helicopter, under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), N00019-05-G-0012. The proposed order will be awarded on a sole source basis to The Boeing Company, Boeing Helicopters, Ridley Park, PA. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10, U.S. Code, Section 2304(c) (1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The period of performance for this effort is 21 August 2006 for a period of six months after contract award and the work will be performed at Boeing Helicopters in Ridley Park, PA. The UDBA is a flight critical component of the hydraulic flight control system. This effort includes the release of Supplier/Boeing drawings and updates to the provisioning documentation and maintenance manuals. See numbered not 22.
