Sources Sought Notice. Statement of Work: Summary The project goal is to create a database management system application that runs on an Oracle 10g database engine, utilizing advanced "World Wide Web" technologies such as, but not limited to the following: Web/Database/Development: Oracle 10g, Oracle SQL, Oracle SQL*Plus, SQL, MySQL, Oracle Developer, Oracle PL/SQL database triggers, Oracle SQL Loader, TOAD, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Crystal Reports, C, C++, SQL, PL/SQL, PHP, HTTP, HTTPS, Java, J2EE (Servlets, JSPs, JDBC, JSTL, JMS, UDDI), HTML, ASP, XML/XSL, XHTML, JavaScript, Cookies, PHP Sessions. This database management system will be used to reliably collect, track, retrieve, sort, search and store critical large calibration data sets. From each calibration, several files are generated which make up a calibration data set. Calibration data sets can contain several files and to-date have been up to 36GB (Gigabytes) in size. A subcontractor would require the following: In-depth knowledge of Oracle, Oracle Application develpoment, Advanced "World Wide Web" Technologies and XML, Excellent design creation and validation, web/database technology integration, design process visualization, design task automation, database model management and collaboration tools, database simulation and physical test, model configuration and integration and database IT planning. Strong database background with data modeling, database administration and replication, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.
