Description

The National Park Service anticipates issuing a Prospectus for boat shuttle service operation at Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming. On Friday, September 29, 2006, the National Park Service will conduct a site visit of concession facilities for the Jenny Lake boat shuttle. The site visit will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the South Jenny Lake Boat dock in Grand Teton National Park. The boat dock is located adjacent to the South Jenny Lake visitor use area, located on Teton Park Road, 21 miles north of Jackson, WY. Interested parties must R.S.V.P. by the close of business (4:30 pm) on Tuesday, September 26, 2006. The site visit is not required to submit a proposal for the Prospectus, but attendance is encouraged. The boat shuttle will close for the season on September 30, and the only access road (Teton Park Road) will close for the winter on October 31. No questions specific to the Prospectus will be entertained during the site visit. Questions specific to the Prospectus will be answered after the Prospectus is issued. The site visit will view existing concession facilities and address questions about the existing Concession Contract. Interested parties must R.S.V.P. by September 26, 2006 to Mallory Smith, Chief of Business Resources at 307-739-3434 or 307-739-3416, or via email at GRTE_Business_Resources@nps.gov. The boat shuttle service generally operates from mid May to late September. The annual gross receipts for this Concession Contract averaged $736,250 from 2002 to 2005.
