Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision to perform lead paint abatement at one house, Gleeson House, within the boundaries of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. The work consists of removal of lead-based paint from existing exterior and interior building components on the house including removal, handling, and disposal of lead-containting material and the subsequent cleaning of the affected environment. The work area includes: exterior trim, soffit, fascia, rake moldings, frieze boards and moldings, front porch components, window sashes, window frames, window wells, doors, door frames, associated door and window hardware, casings, baseboards, stair treads, stair risers, and stair stringers. All work shall be completed in a manner that will protect the historic fabric of the house. All work shall be completed in strict accordance with all federal, state, and local government laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines. The NAICS code is 562910. The small business size standard is $13.0 million. The estimated price range of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Project performance time will be 60 days after notice to proceed. This project is being solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656, accordingly, it is open to small and large businesses. The solicitation with scope of work, specifications, drawings, bid schedule, and wage rates will be posted to the websites, http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about September 8, 2006.
