Description

This is a service contract for pick up, removal and disposal of RCRA wastes, non-RCRA wastes, compressed gas cylinders and polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs)located in and around the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Virginia. SP4400-06-R-0010 will be issued on or around December 30, 2005 on the world wide web. The approximate closing date is January 31, 2006. The solicitation will result in a single, firm-fixed price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The contract will have an 18-month base period with two 18-month option periods. Performance will be requested by the issuance of written task orders against the basic contract. Perspective contractors and subcontractors must be able to meet all Federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations governing disposal of hazardous waste material and environmental protection.
