Description
The purpose of this amendment is to make the following corrections and clarifications: CLIN 0004 (CPC Stand Alone Level IV Plates 8" x 10", quantity 25) is amended as follows: CLIN 0004 - Enhanced SAPI plates (1 set = front & back) 8" x 10", quantity (25) CLIN 0005 (CPC Stand Alone Level IV Plates 10" x 12", quantity 175) is amended as follows: CLIN 0005 - Enhanced SAPI plates (1 set = front & back) 10" x 12", quantity (80) Extend the RFQ date to 0900 am EST, September 6, 2006. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. 1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. Solicitation number F1D3646194A100 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), which can be found at http://www.ccr.gov/ . 3. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12 and DCN 20060814. 4. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. If there are no offers received from a small business concern, this acquisition for small business set-aside may be dissolved and the acquisition open to all responsive bidders. NOTE: This acquisition will not be reposted to the Electronic Posting System if the acquisition is dissolved for 100% small business consideration. The NAICS code is 339113 and the size standard is 500. 5. This solicitation contains ten (10) line items as follows: Woodland Interceptor Vest, NSN: 8470-01-465-1868, X-Large, quantity (25); Woodland Interceptor Vest, NSN: 8470-01-465-1867, Large, quantity (175); Woodland Interceptor Vest, NSN: 8470-01-465-1866, Medium, quantity (175); Woodland Interceptor Vest, NSN: 8470-01-465-1864, Small , quantity (25); CPC Stand Alone Level IV Plates 8? x 10?, quantity (25); CPC Stand Alone Level IV Plates 10? x 12?, quantity (175); Desert Outershell set, X-Large, quantity (25); Desert Outershell set, Large, quantity (175); Desert Outershell set, Medium, quantity (175); Desert Outershell set, Small, quantity (25) 6. FOB Destination (delivery price included in line items) for delivery to 89 SFS/STFR 3537 Salem Road, Andrews AFB, MD 20762. 7. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, applies to this acquisition. Multiple offerors and awards are hereby deleted from this solicitation. All quotes must be for all items, as stated, partial quotes will not be considered. Award will be made to a single vendor. 8. The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on price related factors only. 9. Offerors must submit a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications Commercial, with its offer. Offerors that fail to furnish the required representation information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation, may be excluded from consideration. 10.
