- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ #F3V3VF6214A100. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE, North American Industrial Classification Standard 423430, Size Standard, 100, applies to this procurement. IAW FAR 252.204-7004, all firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-12 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. Description of requirements: 0001-Software Program for Menu Boards. Request contractor furnish and install software on Content Server at a central location. This server is to house all information that is to be displayed on the plasma screens and will come preloaded with Scala Netmanger and IC3 Designer Content Creation software. Contractor will furnish and install 9 Scala players and 5 distribution amplifiers (DA) in the following locations. (See Supplement File) Players to be used need to convert the CAT 5 signal to VGA. Licensing is bundled in groups of 10. Wish to include a 20-player license to account for future growth. To complete the physical installation, contract will furnish and install the CAT 5 cable from network switch and DS 104 port hub, 10/100 Mbps in each building to the Scala player and will then run VGA cable to a DA (if applicable) or straight to the plasma. Upon installation completion, contractor is to provide end user training to personnel. Manufacturer: Active Light 0002-Installation.
