Description: Original synopsis is amended to add the following information for wire brushes. Manufacturers desiring to qualify their products for future requirments must furnish a minimum quantity of twenty-four each for testing and evaluation. The sample brush es will be furnished at no cost to the government. Testing and evaluation may take 6-9 months to complete, depending on the current work load. Testing willbe under the directionof the Chief Engineer, Rubber Products Division, Bldg 493, Red River Army Dep ot, 100 Main Drive, Texarkana, TX 75507-5000. The two manufactueres that have been approved are Osborn PN 1385-S-22 and Danline PN 07000. The estimated issue date for solicitation W911RQ-06-T-0180 is 5 Sept 2006.
