- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Contracting & General Services Division in Portland, OR have a requirement at the Klamath Basin National Wildlife Refuge Complex, 4009 Hill Road, Tulelake, CA 96134 (Modoc County), for the removal of Juniper Trees in approximately 250 acres on Clear Lake Refuge to help improve habitat conditions for sage grouse population. The contractor shall cut down juniper trees with chainsaws which have encroached onto the refuge over the past 60-80 years with most trees of medium size with tree density ranging from sparse to approx. 25 trees per acre. Selection process will be "Best Value" (Price, Experience & Past Performance).
