Description: The George Washington Memorial Parkway (GWMP) requires the replacement and upgrading of specific components of the existing proprietary Gas Boy Fuel Monitoring System. Selected components are being replaced due to corrosion and end of life expectancy. These items are commercial items as defined under FAR 2.101. This synopsis will be published for seven (7) days closing on 09/05/2006 at which time the RFQ will be issued with a response date of 09/07/2006. This will be a small business set-aside. SIze standard is $6.5M. The award will be made in whole to include all line items below; no substitutions or partial award will be made. The performance period shall be 09/01/2006 through 11/30/2006. The GWMP anticipates a sole source award due to the limited regional distibutor support of the proprietary Gas Boy Fuel System. The components to be furnished, installed, and tested must be manufactured for the Gas Boy system and are as follows: 3 ea Gas Boy C07172 Islander 2 @ GWMP/Ft Hunt/ICR Satellite for 2nd fuel island @ GWMP C07193 modem 1 ea PCS042 PC/CFN fuel module software package and annual support contract 1 ea Surge protection 1 ea Replace communication cable btwn island and room 206 using existing conduit 1 ea Replace 2 existing pumps using existing piping and electrical tie into fuel mgt sys 1 ea Install 2 new Islander card readers @ GWMP 1 ea Install new island card reader @ Ft Hunt configure to communicate with GWMP system 1 ea make repairs to existing canopy @ GWMP and install lights provided by the NPS - all cable and electrical will be run through existing conduit or direct burial cable; upgrades to existing underground piping is not included. 2 ea Gas Boy 9153KXTW-2CX two hose2 product dispenser with all S/S cabinet 1 ea Hose hardware upgrade per hose position
